  We booked 2 apartments for our family, young adlts in one apartment and adults with small children in the other. We were placed next door to each other which made it fantastically easy to go from one to the other. When we booked, we booked the studio, but it was so small that we couldn't even put our 2 suitcases in.   I always like to stay somewhere different and this was a great find. Brand new with a real boutique property feel. Very personalised service, and great modern rooms. I travel to TSV often and the hotels there, while OK are all becoming pretty dated so this was just what the city needed.

  The location was quite good close to the older part of Townsville. Our view from apartment 64 was really quite nice. The overal facilities were good and the apartment was sensibly laid out. Beautiful bathroom, loved the sliding doors in the lounge and bedroom. Really special to open them up in the morning before the day heated up.   Didn't know the Ridgemont existed until I found while searching on line, a little secluded but close to most things around the city. My wife and I had an upper level room for 2 nights, brilliant view, great to sit on balcony looking out over Strand and Maggie Island. Good value. I've stayed in other accommodation where the rooms were close to the lifts. The noise from the lifts interrupted my sleep.
