It was sheer pleasure to stay at Quay West! The Staff were friendly, efficient and attentive and bent over backwards to be helpful. I ordered Room Service breakfast which was delivered hot and on time and it was everything and more than I expected. Bouquets to Quay West - I can't wait to return. The view was spectacular and the suites magic. This was an indulgent luxury for us to fair well a family member back over seas......if it was a bit cheaper we could indulge more often....but hey maybe that's what it makes special....many thanks cheers a, c, k and M.
所有评语 » Upon checkin camille gave fantastic service, was very warm and bubbly yet extremely professional. The surprise and delight for my birthday was another fantastic touch. Hsk very good and the pool was just divine! Deffinatly worth the 5 star rating!. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The apartment was spotless. The views were breathtaking. I could fault nothing at all and would highly recommend this Accommodation. A very special and enjoyable stay. We loved everything about Quay West Suites. The location, the view, the staff and most of all the luxury. This is our second stay at Quay West Suites and we will definitely stay there again. Such wonderful view with bridge and opera house.free wine and greeting card for my birthday. Beautiful roof swimming pool n views.easy walk to all bars and restaurants around.i love it. The view from the balcony was fabulous with both the Harbour Bridge and Opera House clearly evident. The bed was extremely comfortable and all furnishings were very well appointed. Staff were brilliant and the 2 bedroom suite was amazing with fantastic views. Stayed there previously in 2000 and its actually improved. Great apartment for 2 couples plus one. The view was fantastic. Very close to the Opera House. The staff were very knowledgeable and keen to make us feel welcome and looked after. The beds and pillows were comfy. The View of the Harbour Bridge and Opera House was good, albeit the hotel is set back between the Shangri-la and the Four Seasons Hotels who both dominate the view. The view from Quay West has "blinkers" on. Nothing. There is nothing we didn't like. All good. Walking up the hill to get back to the hotel. Couldn't get a late checkout and could only afford to stay there once. The WiFi and newspaper should be included in the tariff, which I think was a little overpriced. Over $700 for one night is a little steep. Nothing. Dining options were limited in-house, though quality of food was good. It is up a steep incline with a more comfortable alternative approach: with a kid and luggage, would have appreciated that approach being pointed out up front more clearly. Some of the decor, fixtures and fittings a little tired, maybe. Very expensive, but we knew that. So, when we were told there were no umbrellas available as they were all loaned out, I felt a little short changed.. Still, enjoyed our stay. Couldn't fault the apartment. There's nothing not to like. Nothing. Coffee - only thing that could ave improved was somewhere to buy good coffee. Lobby atmosphere. the cleanliness of the kitchen kettle was a little disappointing. this is a very minor thing but prevented a nice cuppa. reservation staff were not very flexible with changing dates once booked. Can't think of anything!. In this day and age can't believe WiFi had to be paid for and was very expensive. The walk up the hill lol but that was Ok. All the steps at The Rocks, google maps sent us in the wrong direction so we arrived via the cape of good hope. when the room next door take a shower you the noise in the bedroom is so loud it is like they are in your room. This noise is absolutely awful!. Very long check-in. Reception a little gruff!. Uncomfortable bed. Room was tired and needed updating. Rate was booked through letsbookhotel.com however when checking out, hotel does increase booked fee with credit card fees on ALL credit cards. Check-in staff were very slow and did not know her job. Check-out staff just wanted to argue about cc fee. For what it was, very over-priced. 3-4 star hotel with a 7 star (blinkered) view.
