The Flinders Range in South Australia is a must see area with breath-taking gorges and mountain views and the Wilpena Pound Lodge is an ideal location as a base.
Everything you need is there and it's isolation doesn't limit the facilities too much. The staff are a mix of locals and itinerant young travellers stopping for a while. The level of training is in general okay.
Restaurant meals were fine.
