  I found the hosts were exceptional in making our stay extremely welcoming. The facilities were second to none. Rooms were beautifully appointed and extremely comfortable.   we stayed here for 1 night as a stopover before we went to Daydream Island. We arrived late at night and were given a very warm welcome. The apartment was very spacious and clean with lovely views. Bars and restaurants are nearby.   Such nice, helpful people. We already noticed this last time we were here and that's why we keep coming back. Just before turning in we went outside because the moon had just set and there are no street lights here, nor any other outside lights for that matter, so we expected a spectacular display of stars. Did - Great location near the sapphire mining fields. On arrival we found a very impressive setting for a stay in the country. The room was a very good size and great layout. Very clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the pool and BBQ area. Also liked the laundry facilities with washing machine and drier, that we did not have to pay for - a bonus. Excellent value for money and one of the best we have stayed in in our 4 weeks of travel in Qld so far.

We felt like home and Eddi was very helpful to orginized our day trips for us. The Roydon is located perfectly at the beach and for day trips around cairns (Great Barrier Reef, Kuranda .....).
