  Great location. Staff were friendly and helpful. The facilities were also great and I like that the place was surrounded with lots of trees and gardens so that staying there was very relaxing and laid back - very similar to the Darwin vibe. Close to city centre & local buses. Friendly & helpful staff willing to be helpful with our later departure. Stored our luggage whilst we were on trip.   Ibis was able to provide the support we needed when preparing for an early start with a planned Adventure holiday. Staff were exceptionally supportive, ensuring out of hours arrival and departure could be managed with bags being stored safely. You could stept outside the door and just a short walk up the street and you were in the middle of everything. I loved the friendly Staff...always smiling and cheerful!   Melaluca on Mitchell is located in the heart of Darwin and is right across from Coles. It's surrounded by great pubs and restaurants. I booked a double bed accessible room with my own ensuite and the room was great value for money and fully accessible. I also loved that the aircon was so loud it blocked out most of the noise! Rely enjoyed my stay at Melaleuca, I was travelling along and found it easy to make friends to have fun with. They have cleaners that work everyday, so bathroom is clean and the bedroom bins are always changed. The mess comes from other guests

  I had a private room so it was luxurious! Great that towels were provided that was a real bonus and simple breakfast was really appreciated. I was also impressed that I was given a discount for the broken sink. Overall I was really impressed as I haven't stayed in a backpacker's lodge since the 70's!!!
