Loved our stay at Melaleuca. It is located close to all amenities and the staff very kindly booked us in to the furthest room away from the road. Service was brilliant. The room was clean, bright and spacious. It was excellent value for money. We will stay again and highly recommend it to everyone. We were in Portland for a funeral, the staff at Melaleuca Motel couldn't do enough for us, they kindly let us use the restaurant (now closed) for our family to meet and eat in. Fabulous place that made us feel at home and welcome. Way over and above expectation.
所有评语 » Perfect stop off on our travels across Australia. We were greeted warmly and we were tired travellers who found the staff very helpful and friendly. The lay out and cleanliness of the room and facilities, including free Wi-Fi suited our needs perfectly. location is great, close the beach and cith centre, but very quiet at night, room is really large. staff are nice and friendly. Interesting thing was that we saw a koala in the tree at the motel yard. very nice and friendly reception. Room is clean and comfortable. Parking right in front of door, very convenient. Very quite at night. location is very good, managers very good. Room comfortable. good access and parking for trailer. Had microwave which was a bonus. Very obliging staff WiFi for everyone, kids included for their Ipods/Ipads Great location, close to town and pool. Wonderful weather, location was amazing and the ease at travelling into town or to the beach. The room was clean, bed was good and a good TV . Also it was quiet. A cheap and clean motel with good value for money, however, you get what you pay for. Nothing. nothing, fabulous location, staff and value for money. no handtowel in bathroom free Wi-fi didn't work. damaged window which would not open or close easily. There was no cutlery or crockery and 1st impression was the smell of cheap room deodorant. The restaurants available in town are falling behind in the quality and value of towns wishing to attract tourists. Rooms need to be updated, but are very comfortable. Décor was OK but like most, you pay for what you get. parking very tight & exit is through unsealed pasage. Décor a little dated. iron mark on carpet( though sympathhetic to this) and window that didn't wind properly. A couple of minor observations, but certainly not negative. No supply of face washer/cloth and shampoo/conditioner & soap replaced daily even though not fully used. The outside fluro light light up the room as if it was daylight. No flannel or handtowel in bathroom. N/A. Two rooms did not have plates. Nothing. Let down only by a poor broadband policy. It seems its only available for an hour starting from first log on and expiring an hour later irrespective of how little was used - before large fees are required. And only one device can log on at a time ie: smartphone or ipad or laptop, but not more than one at a time. Now that the marginal cost of broadband is approaching zero its, in my opinion, an unnecessarily unfriendly policy to have. The room and bathroom was clean but really needed a refurbishment. There were no sitting place in front of the appartment, and an obvious possibility to exploit the green areas to put chairs and tables were not used. All in all Melaleuca Motel and Portland were our only dissapointments on our Great Ocean Tour. The beds were much too hard. I thought they were uncomfortable.
