Loved how clean and fresh everything was. The place is kept tidy and well. Secure parking is also a big plus. The person at the counter was Great. Michelle, she was very friendly and helpful. She made me feel comfortable and at home immediately. I stayed in the budget room with shared facilties. Loved it, one of the nice rooms I've been in for sure. Was a little worried when we located Pampas Motel. This establishment is part of a decommissioned Pub with motels room attached. There was no need to worry as the room was great with every comfort, the place was spotless and there was a lovely outside area to enjoy. Our stay there was very comfortable and was real value for money.
所有评语 » Proprietor kindly waited for us when we arrived late. Handsome historic building with comfortable bed, clean shared shower and toilet, and well-equipped kitchen. Easy to find by tired travellers from the east. The owner was very knowledgeable and helpful! Apart from the trains at the rear it was near perfect. My partner and I had a great stay and would stay there again!. The customer service was great and after a long day of driving the location (it is on the main road into Port Augusta) was very convenient. The room was large and the bed comfortable. Outside the room is a verandah with a table which is a nice place to sit and be outdoors. The owner was both kind and most helpful. Good location for touring the region, good local food outlets near by. Value for money. Do not be put off by the outside of the building you will be pleasantly surprised inside. Friendly service; large room, well-equipped, with generous facilities. Very friendly helpful staff who have great local knowledge. Great room-really big and clean, whole hotel looks great. Great hospitality. good security. Everyhing. nice and roomy. Not much. I stayed in the budget room using shared facilities. The facilities were great except for one thing. There are no sinks or taps in the toilet. So you either have to wash your hands back in your room (I had a sink in the room) or head to the other end of the building to wash your hands in the bathroom, provided there is soap. But one of the nicer budget rooms I've stayed in. Nothing really, all was great. Stairs rather steep for someone with hip replacements!. The trains at the rear weren't a big problem, but there wasn't anything else to complain about!. The heating was only just sufficient ,if it was any colder it would not be enough but this degree of cold I experienced is very rare in Port Augusta. We did not find any faults. Being so close to the railway line!. Nothing. I couldn't find the bathroom very easily. I also wish they had hand towels in the rooms - there was a sink, but only huge bath towels to dry my hands with. I also didn't like that they turned all the lights off downstairs so when I went out to my car, I had to fumble my way around. The bedspread is lovely- room 20 but it hid the wooden bed post thus I banged my knee up pretty badly. toilets to far from room. The noise of so many goods trains throughout the night. The room felt a bit cold. Upstairs need freshen up a little. would have been nice to know the rail was still been used long trains for early in the morning was a bit of a surprise. no soap in rooms, suits backpackers, not enough off street parking not a welcoming environment.
