I loved the gourmet breakfast! The owners, Keith and Jane, know just how to make your stay perfect. I wouldn't change a thing. My favourite time of day was the evening, (exhausted from touring), sitting on the deck with a bottle of wine and looking at their beautiful garden.

Me and my partner spent the night at Gilgara Retreat on arrival the hospitality was 5 star very welcoming and made us feel at home. The accomodation was beautiful romantic and allowed us to take in the surroundings we enjoyed our stay very much and anticipate returning with family and friends in August. Absolutely everything - the accommodation at Heritage Trail Lodge was superb and set in the most amazing garden. It was close to restaurants and shops and walking trails. The customer service by staff was excellent and the breakfasts that showcased local produce were top class. Although situated on the main road there was no disruption to sleep from traffic noise.
