We stayed in Oct 2013 and for our family of 5 found the Ocean Park Motel to be a very nice place, close to the beach and near a well priced restaurant, nice little lounge area, full kitchen and good bathroom, bedrooms were pretty good. It had a homey feel about it with a Siamese fighting fish in a bowl. Good value for the time we were there. Location was fabulous Not noisy Relaxed atmosphere Bedroom was a great size and loved the colours, bed spread If we need to return next yr for the comp, we will definitely book with you again, but will go with a two bedroom one.
所有评语 » Lovely room with more than I expected for the price. Lovely attitude of the lady at the desk. Much nicer and very clean. My son loved it there. Very comfortable and we really enjoyed it. Felt at home. Location was easy to get to. Rooms tastefully decorated. Owners handled late notice request for extra bed quickly and without fuss. Bed and bedding was good. Generally good value for money. Retro feel, very clean, ex location. Towel and toilet paper origami style folding was amazing! Had a live Siamese fighting fish in a bowl in the room-yeh, I know, different!. The staff was friendly. The rooms smelt really nice unlike the generic chemical smell of motel. They took the time to ensure your comfort up to the last detail. There were 3 adults in the 1-bedroom. The room was roomy, nicely decorated and with a balcony overlooking the pool. Wiithin walking distance to the beach. It was clean & tidy, very well presented. It had all the utensils any one could ask for. Great location to beach, pub & cafes. loved the cleanliness, location, friendliness and helpfulness of staff, decor bright and fresh, great idea of goldfish as our host :). I liked the little veranda out front. Room was exceptionally clean and very closeby to clubs, restaurants. Staff most helpful. it was very homely and comfy and the bbq facilities were handy, we especially loved the fish in the fishbowl on the table. The location was excellent and the rooms were very comfortable and quiet. Nothing was any trouble to the friendly staff. The friendly staff and the extra time out into the details to make the room beautiful. Highly recommended. I'll be back. Big appartment, well equipied, correct price. Hotel on the other side of the road for correct food and beers. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The staff amazing and friendly. Would definitely stay there again. I wonder if he could be accessed by people staying there in an open top container so I talked to him a bit. Fridge had a smell when opened like a bit of stagnant water behind the fridge but it was very clean inside. We were only staying overnight so didn't use all the facilities. Shower ran out after 2 people. The front door was very hard to close but wasn't a problem once we got use to it. High rise buildings next door blocked the sunlight. Nothing. The rooms are close. All good, no issues. There was nothing I didn't like at all. Nothing. The screen door banged closed - the hydraulic closer was not working. Being woken at 4am by vulgar talk and noise from somewhere very close. Felt like they were standing in my room the talking was so clear. Didn't bother us but there is a pub across the road. Noise didn't run too late into the night though. Internet was abit of a pain, had too go close to office to get it. Not many places to choose to dine out. all good. WIFI didn't work in either our room or BBQ area. The barbeque pit seem rather dirty. Bathroom getting old, but is was clean and freshly painted. bed very firm, parking spots very close,. The cooktop. Lack of adeqaute car parking space - a sea rising device parked in a car spot? No. Needed new fridge & cook top. Leaving wished we had stayed longer. No internet. Rooms to close together.
