  Absolutely amazing place to stay, with great staff and superb accommodation. I arrived from my flight at about 5am, 9 hours before check in. This wasnt a problem, was shown straight to the guest lounge and was able to get some sleep and a shower and wait in comfort. The pool was gorgeous, the breakfast was superb, and the ho - We really liked the layout of Palm Royale and so many swimming pools from which to choose.There are plenty of options for ordering meals but they are brought in as I dont think there was a restaurant available to guests. Buffet breakfast is available on site. Red rooster is nearby and a shopping centre within close walking distance.Security staff constantly patrol the site. The room was very good value for money and we would stay again.

  Great place. If you're looking for somewhere to party & have a laugh then this is the place. Stayed in a four bed room with an ensuite shower & toilet which were cleaned everyday. The Staff were kind, courteous, helpful and always well mannered. Our room and Linen were kept clean and tidy at all times.   Great location away from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist strip of Cairns, but within walking distance to the esplanade, shops and restaurants. Friendly, helpful staff who recommended some nice tours. Clean premises and well planned layout with plenty of toilets, showers, kitchens and common areas to relax. I stay here like staying at home. it's the best backpacker I have been to. - We enjoyed our stay at Dreamtime Travellers rest, the guys at the reception were really helpful and they gave us a nice twin room close to the swimming pool, which was super clean and very homy. Considering Cairns's standards, this hostel raises up quite a bit! Friendly but still quiet, and just a 10 minutes stroll to downtown. Great!
