  Absolutely amazing place to stay, with great staff and superb accommodation. I arrived from my flight at about 5am, 9 hours before check in. This wasnt a problem, was shown straight to the guest lounge and was able to get some sleep and a shower and wait in comfort. The pool was gorgeous, the breakfast was superb, and the ho - We really liked the layout of Palm Royale and so many swimming pools from which to choose.There are plenty of options for ordering meals but they are brought in as I dont think there was a restaurant available to guests. Buffet breakfast is available on site. Red rooster is nearby and a shopping centre within close walking distance.Security staff constantly patrol the site. The room was very good value for money and we would stay again.

  Great location away from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist strip of Cairns, but within walking distance to the esplanade, shops and restaurants.   Great location. Friendly staff. - I was upgraded and had a room to myself, it was a clean place, I only spent one night, it was quiet and the staff were helpful. I would stay there again. Located across from the lagoon and close to all amenities, easy to get to from the bus and shuttle to the airport was easy to arrange and cost $10. Good place!

There was something fun going on every night such as drinking games, reptile shows, cheap bbqs etc. The people and music is quite loud (which is fun, people are happy), but it gets quiet after midnight.
