Manager Ray was excellent with his knowledge of the area and advice. We were seven of us and had booked for only two nights but we came back for third night on way back from Ayres Rock. There was nothing better than White Gum Motel ( location, value for money and hospitality). Thanks Ray. Dyal Bagri and friends from Leicester UK. It was close to the town center walking distance to be exact, room came with all kitchen facilities to which made my stay more enjoyable & added touch of a homely feel. Staff were very helpful & provided great customer service. Worth while the stay.

Stephen the manager was very helpful on what to see and do around Alice Springs. He also made sure our rooms were together as I had requested. We would recommend this motel to others. Very friendly and helpfull staff (we forgot a mobile and he immediately called us), nice room with fully equipped kitchen facilities, parking in front of the room, quiet area. Location was good, easy to find. Comfortable bed. Bonus was motel had all kitchen facilities such as microwave, toaster, pots, pans, cutlery and crockery. Slightly out of the centre, but a pleasant walk and a good pub,the Monte, just along the road. The two staff we met were very helpful and considerate. The room was spacious with a full kitchen. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The location was pleasant and a short walk to the town. Not too expensive, owner very friendly, accomodation basic but very clean. The light outside our room was so bright we had to put up a blanket to block the light. very small parking area, not that close to the city centre. Parking was squeezy with cars packed in very close to each other, nearly impossible to turn around. The air conditioner needed servicing. 10 minute walk from town a joke, more like 25 minutes, too far from town and resturants, thought it a bit cheeky asking guests to not only wash up, but put everything away before leaving, especially. I booked thinking I would get three single beds, but had a room with a double, single and sofa. Alice Springs water - filtered water would be nice. Car parking is a bit tight. The room was cold, the AC cannot heat sufficiently and spilled dirt. Kitchen hot-plate a little odd but worked well enough. Keep your car locked up - the back of a ute was burgled overnight while we were there. Not exactly centrally located, but the distance is walkable. Bring your own toiletries. no dislikes. Place could use an overhaul. More basic than we were led to expect from reviews. In need of some updating and proper renovation. Car Parking tight. No balcony. We left after killing one large cock roach and then finding another under the bed.
