  Very close to beach, and marina, shops, places to eat ( great variety to choose from) public transport. A supermarket and bakery were within a few minutes walk and there were lovely big parks across the road and at the side of the block. The pool and spa were great, warm without being too hot.   Beautiful apartment in a perfect location, straight across the road from Glenelg beach. The road in front of the apartment is pedestrians only - no traffic other than cycles so very peaceful.The complex has some very interesting nautical items outside which gives the place plenty of character. Having a kitchen is great for self catering. The flats were so central to everything. We hired a car but didn't need it while in Adelaide itself - only when we went to the Barossa Valley.   From the moment we arrived until that when we left we were made to feel welcome and valued. The staff were most attentive, but at the same time unobtrusive, and carried out their duties in a most professional manner. The room was comfortable and contained everything that we needed. Nice décor with an old-world feel in the lobby and public areas. The rooms are not huge, but perfectly adequate for a couple. Staff were attentive and helpful without being obtrusive. The Restaurant (and the service there) is excellent. Was only there for a shortish business break so didn't use the pool/gym and can't comment on those.

Having a full kitchen and washing machine was great when travelling with a toddler. Our package stated not serviced due to the cheap price, but our room was serviced every day anyway - nice surprise.   We booked a two room deluxe apartment, as advised we called Kevin prior to arrival and asked if we could store baggage earlier than check in time. Reception staff at desk downstairs excellent - full of helpful advice, and went the extra mile for us on numerous occasions. Room was modern and very comfortably furnished. Dipti met us on arrival and was extremely welcoming and knowledgeable.

  It was our first visit to Australia and stayed at 2 bdrom aptmt for 3 nites. The apartment is conveniently located in the cbd and about 5 min walk to the Central Market where we can get halal meat from the butchery. Coles is just next to the market. The apartment was fully furnished and complete with kitchen and utensils. It was overall a comfortable - On a trip to Adelaide that failed dismally across the board my travel companion and I both agreed that Franklin Central Apartments was the one part of our stay we enjoyed! The rooms were smartly decorated and kept in pristine condition, the staff were friendly and approachable and the price was very reasonable for the quality of the room. If by some vague chance I ever happen to stay in Adelaide again I will gladly do so with Franklin Central and will recommend my friends to also!
