Jorge and gladis consistently went out of their way to help us and help plan our time in Mendoza. Jorge has basic English but tries really hard and it is possible to communicate with him! Our bus was cancelled back to santiago on the last day and Jorge helped us find alternate solutions and welcomed us back to the B&B to use the Internet and call around. They found us alternate accomm as they were full. They were waiting at the door for us each night like parents waiting to hear about our d.
所有评语 » Best accommodation option we had in Argentina! The owners were extremely helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed wonderful breakfasts served by Gladys and Jorge including fresh juice, warm pastries and home-made marmalades. The room was very comfortable and clean, bright with air- conditioning and own bathroom. The house is very well located on a back street but right in the city centre. We had an unexpected situation – due to heavy rains on Argentina-Chile border our bus trip was canceled. Jor. Wonderful owners Jorge and Gladys make you feel at home (or even better than home). Fresh breakfast is great. Their personal attention is excellent. They try to answer every question and arrange everything you need. They know so much about the city and its environments so they give great advices on where to go (and how). Event hough they know just little English bit's easy to communicate with them. We had a very spacious room with a bathroom with shower and sort of spa bathtub. Without doubt this is probably close to the best Bed and Breakfast overall we have ever stayed in in our travels in Oceania, Europe and the uk. Others that stand out include one in Dundee in Scotland and one in Geraldine in the South Island of New Zealand. Not enough can be said about the personal attention and outstanding breakfasts given. Very generous hosts. Location is very good being close to the happenings and eating places. Probably the best value for money anywhere. Gladys and Jorge are such a lovely welcoming and generous couple! We thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay. They helped us in maximising our time in Mendoza. Plus the room was huge, very clean and of good quality furnishings. Location is near to some lovely restaurants. I don't normally stay in B&Bs but i will do from now on since 816B&B was such a unique special find!. While the facilities were quite good, the real stand out was the owners. George and his family really put themselves out to help make our trip to Mendoza special. They spend a lot of time helping us solve a problem, advising us on what to see and do, booking tours and just having friendly chats. We give them the highest recommendations as warm and friendly hosts. Jorge was fantastic calling our tour operator when they were late showing up for an excursion and helping us print bus tickets. The breakfast was delicious warm croissants, lovely bread. Great location near lots of bars and restaurants and our room was ginormous with a really comfy bed. Would definitely stay again. A lovely place to stay and to discover the city of Mendoza! Within a few blocks you're in the heart of Medoza's city centre. Jorge and Gladys are very friendly and helpfull, even if you don't speak spanish very well! The breakfast with fresh orange juice, homemade bread and jams is absolutely delicious!. This was a wonderful place to stay with very friendly hosts. The room was beautiful and the area was great- very close to a popular restaurant street. We even had laundry done and were directed to which were the best winery´s to visit. I highly reccomend this B&B!. Fantastic hosts - extremely friendly and helpful, facilities great, delicious breakfast, iin an upscale neighbourhood location convenient to park and downtown and easy walk to bus station. Nothing!. For me the bed was little too soft but that's personal taste. Absolutely nothing. There was nothing that I would be able to complain about- all was brilliant!. Nothing to report. room a little small.
