We had a very pleasant stay at Riva Urban Loft and decided to stay here just a couple of before arriving to Buenos Aires, mainly because of the swimming pool and free wifi. We were not let down. The apartment was modern, stylish and clean, the bed nice and comfortable, and although we stayed on the first floor this was no issue since the apartment view was towards the garden/patio (meaning, we were not disturbed by the traffic etc). 所有评语 » Great new hotel very central to get around. You can walk easily to the San Telmo, Centro and a reasonable taxi fare to the other tourist hot spots. Nice clean facilites. Comfy bed, quiet location and the pool was a real treat after a full day of sightseeing. Reception staff were very efficient, friendly and helpful. Overall a very good stay. There was a an issue with the toilet, but management were very quick to resolve. Its very close to the center of the city and also the subways. There is a little market right in front of the hotel, wich is great to buy basic supplies. The hotel is clean and modern, and the staff is super helpfull. :). The staff were polite and very informative to our requests and enquiries. We liked that we had facilities such as a jug and fridge. The room size was also good. Overall our experience at Riva lofts was good. Nice to have a swimming pool on the roof overlooking part of the city. Wifi was working fine. Water cooker in the room. Huge bed. Quiet. There were a couple of occassions when the elevator stopped working which obviously can be inconvenient for those living on the upper floors. I stayed in the second floor, and my apartment was headed to the street, so it was really noisy. Only complaint was that my airport pickup did not arrive and I had to organise a taxi via the airport service. Traffic noise could be a bit much if you're not used to city living. shower didnt work properly but was able to use it anyway. The area during the night could be quite lonely. Was a bit noisy - mainly could hear other rooms shut their doors when they got home early morning. Breakfast - no point booking as is only served from 08h00 - too late and then you have to wait forservice for 45 mins. Waste of money. no availability of breakfast. Slow, poor elevator. We had some problems with the door of the balcony which we couldn't close or lock. However, they gave us another room which was fine. The pool was super dirty and one could not go for a dip. - We had no cold water (only hot) in the sink because the tap was broken. - The room had an awfull smell (probably someone had burned somthing in the microwave) We got to change to another room after two days, which was better. - No seating, only a table (and a big open space) in our second room - You have to pay for cleaning. Not what it appears when advertised. The apartment has not got basic facilities I would expect. You essentially have to get everything yourself as it is an extra. The breakfast on offer is best to skip. Waste of time and money.
