Comfortable and (relatively) inexpensive motel, very well-located for visiting Santa Fe and surroundings. Just a 10-minute drive from downtown. The people at the office are very friendly, and even provide a good simple breakfast in the motel garden. A very pleasant surpise to find such an inexpensive and more than adequate place to stay in this expensive city. Good eating nearby on Cerillos Road. Will certainly stay here again. все обзоры »
Very nice and friendly owner provided us a great welcome. The rooms
offer various themes...ours was themed as "Billy the Kid".
The room was very clean, WIFI (free) worked flawlessly. Had no chance to check out the (free) breakfast because we left too early.
We would definitely stay there again when in Santa Fa (no wonder...even Val Kilmer chose to stay there a couple of times ;-) ).
The staff is wonderful and the owner, Dawn, is extremely down to earth and friendly. When I called to make a reservation, I asked only for a completely non smoking room, not even near a smoking room, and a clean room. The clerk guaranteed I would get both and they pride themselves on their cleanliness. I was not disappointed- it exceeded my expectations.
Nostalgic, and clean. With a wonderful caring staff. Make you feel right at home! We all will be back! Dawn the owner is fabulous. And the atmosphere for a budget motel is great. The continental breakfast hit the spot. Soooo much bang for your buck , and your buck goes a long way! Thanks for the stay, see y'all again when we head back to Santa Fe.
This motel was just as described by other travelers.Quaint, cute, clean
and very friendly. Can not say enough about the owner Dawn who greets
you each time you go to the office or to have your complimentary
breakfast. She is a gem as is this property. Kind of a throwback to the
Route 66 motel's of the 50'S.
This was a one-night stay for us, we probably would not consider this motel for a longer stay. We like that it is extremely inexpensive. It has charm, being built in the early 1950s. The bathroom fixtures have been updated and were clean. The office staff were friendly and very accommodative.
This hotel is really great. Outside a very mexican style design, ans the rooms are well decorated. Nothing to complain about the facilities. Not very well located (about 4 miles from historic plaza), but rhe access is very easy. The hotel is also near from the outlet.
Firstly the beds, so soft and cosy. The look, patchwork covers and cowboy kitsch. Staff, especially the ladies, so friendly. Breakfast very good. Microwave, fridge and flat screen tv. Next door to interesting shopping experiences of said kitsch. Santa Fe amazing.
The staff was very friendly and helpful - always pleasant and willing to answer our ?.
Location and cost were perfect for budget minded travelers.
Beds comfy and rooms clean - not being high maintenance we had everything we needed and breakfast was such a gift.
I liked the cute Route 66 decor (cowboy style) motor hotel. The price was terrific. The staff was friendly and so helpful. Even though it had a budget price, they still served a nice continental breakfast. I loved all the decor in the office.
Customer Service was excellent. All staff members were helpful answering questions. Rooms were clean and having the small refrig and microwave was a plus. We were there for a 8 days so the fact it is a budget friendly hotel was a bonus.
The hotel was delightful. We loved the Annie Oakley Room! The little courtyard off of the office was charming and a pleasant place to relax in the evening. The hosts were gracious, friendly and helpful. We would stay again.
Good value for Santa Fe. Clean and friendly. Glad we stayed and plan on using it as our go to place to stay when in Santa Fe in the future. Great place!
Bonus; close to good restaurants, transportation to the plaza, etc.
Good value. Comfortable beds, cute decorations, good breakfast (for
the price). The owners have done a great job of taking an old motel
and turning it into a welcoming, interesting, and budget-friendly
place to rest.
The hotel is a great find, lots of history. Very, very clean. Staff is friendly and more than willing to list all the must-sees. Very quiet at night, despite lots of cars in the parking lot. Awesome breakfast!.
Fun, friendly and kitchy. Very impressed with comfort and cleanliness of the small room. Great for our overnight stay. If you are looking for frills, this is not the place for you. Met our needs perfectly.
As others have said in their reviews, this is a little gem of a hotel.
It is quaint and clean, and you can't beat the price anywhere, but
most especially in Santa Fe. I would definitely stay there again.
Staff was so friendly and helpful! I stayed in the Willie Nelson room and thought the decor was just as others have described. Best of all was the taceria next door- great food at am amazing price!.
The room was clean and had everything we really needed. The staff was
very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. If we needed
something the staff took care of it. We felt very safe there.
A budget motel with a lot of character and a very friendly atmosphere.
Enjoyed our breakfast chats with other guests and family members who own it.
Excellent location. Quiet and very clean.
The front desk staff is the best!!! The friendliness and helpfulness will never be met by any other. We are recommending this beautiful gold nugget to anyone going to the Santa Fe area.
Wonderful 50's decor, comfortable quiet room (even though it's on one of Santa Fe's busiest roads), Desk Clerk Miguel's friendly helpful manner. Oh...and the more-than-reasonable cost!.
A cute clean western themed place with wonderful owners so eager to please customers and willing to go the extra mile for information of the abundant history of New Mexico.
Friendly and helpful staff. Classic Route 66 motel, 1953 vintage - exactly what we were looking for. Comfy bed in an adobe setting, and simple but adequate breakfast.
The owner is extremely nice.
The theme of the hotel is vintage-cow boy: all the bedrooms are dedicated to certain legendary persons and the furniture respect the theme.
The people! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast items were plentiful and diverse. It's nice to have choices that are not all carbohydrates.
The staff was friendly and helpful. It was a funky place that felt like home. Although I do not smoke, I liked that the smoking area looked like a cantina.
The staff are super friendly and helpful. The rooms kept wonderfully clean and comfortable. Great authentic mexican food across the street at Cafe Castro.
Very clean. It is family owned. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice continental breakfast. We would definetely stay there again if in the area.
This is our favorite place to stay in the Santa Fe - Taos area. We love the owners and the staff, they go out of their way to be helpful and friendly!.
Wonderful staff. The motel reminded me of the places I stayed at as a
kid. Great rates for a comfortable, clean room. Healthy, adequate
breakfast.
The staff set the tone. They were very friendly causing all the guest to be friendly toward each other. A smile in the morning goes along way.
Staff was helpful and friendly. Made good suggestions for restaurants etc...
Continental breakfast was as good or better than larger motels.
Retro 1950's motel. Great location to use for day trips to Chimayo, Bandelier, & the Plaza in Santa Fe. Friendly staff, clean, basic.
Quirky decor in room.
Good location close to town, shops, picture theatre.
Separate shower recess a first for this trip. (Not over bath).
The reception staff was excellent. Room was nice and clean. Liked the sone floor in room 3 and the shower was great. Heater was quiet.
Cute place. Standard hotel turned into something charming by nice decor and very comfortable beds. Excellent staff and nice breakfast.
Reminded me of the old Route 66 Motels. very clean and very friendly staff. good location and walking distance from a market place.
Homey atmosphere, friendly helpful staff. Rooms were very comfortable. Heat and hot water were very good. Bed very comfortable.
Warm, friendly atmosphere, cleanliness, quiet, location. It was basic but very comfortable.
Provided full breakfast.
Very cute room. Ours was themed on "rawhide". Very comfortable bed. Shower is a bit small. Really nice breakfast.
Loved this fun, little family owned motel. Owner was so sweet, helpful and accommodating. We would stay here again!.
Friendliness and convenience (location) - they also helped me find
something valuable to me that I'd forgotten!.
This was a very friendly and comfortable place to stay and I could not have been more satisfied for the price.
Loved the nice western style furniture and the huge real (european)
style shower, nice continental breakfast!.
The room was very clean and comfortable and I loved the decor. The staff was also very friendly and helpful.
The rooms were kitschy and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They made us feel like home.
I benefitted tremendously from the location. The price was right, the staff friendly and helpful.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was cozy and the bed was very comfortable.
very clean, very good beds, good breakfest office people were very helpfull, an friendly.
My room (#12) was a bit cramped inside and did not even have room for a bureau for our clothes. Other than that, everything was fine.
No dislikes. It is what we expected.
The room is very small and may not be comfortable for larger people. The shower was especially small, about 30 inches square. On the plus side there was plenty of hot water.
The bathroom is quite small, specially the shower.
Walls a bit thin, could hear people talking next door. Try as I might, couldn't hear what they were saying.
Not much!
Had trouble getting Internet service in my room but it was fine in the office.
Not sure why the toilet was so small. Reminded me of a child's toilet???.
WiFi did not work well in the room much of the time - so we went to the
office for it. Shower so small an obese or large person can hardly fit
in it (3 walls & a shower curtain - no tub).
Only bad thing was the AC unit was noisy.
Loved all of it.
The shower was small but worked.
Nothing to report here.
Our stay was much too short.
I liked everything.
Very happy with it all.
The air conditioning unit was loud. But, if set low and cold, it can be shut off for a peaceful sleep. The bathroom needs remodeled.
That we didn't stay there longer.
Small shower like the kind in Europe but doable. Don't expect a
modern hotel. This is a place with character.
Highway was a little noisy on the weekend.
Could hear the noise from the highway.
About 13 miles from the main plaza but easy to get there.
Limited area to put clothes away.
That the Wi-Fi was not working well - in the evening... It did get fixed
after 7am (when I let them know) which was good.
Nothing.
I only wish there was a coffee pot in the room. They did provide breakfast and coffee in the lobby/office, but I wold have preferred flying that mission solo. I biggie. Just a personal preference.
every thing was good.
