On arrival were greeted by Anita who showed us around the Hotel and also went through the leaflets and local attractions.Throughout our stay we experienced great friendliness, courtesy, and personal attention at all times. The breakfasts were fantastic, a very good selection to set you up for the day, everything was fresh not pre-cooked and not left standing. Every meal was tasty with no surplus fat on the plates and also a reasonable choice of bar snacks in the evening, as with the drinks from. все обзоры »
Myself and my wife stayed at the Cimon for a short break in mid-October we travel all over the UK I must say this most defiantly the best guest house we have stayed in all the years we have been traveling the country from the second Adam opened the door we were made very welcomed he made you feel at home. We stayed in one of the back bedrooms looking out to the sea perfect in every way for us a perfect room with everything you needed in their plenty of parking which is a bonus. The breakfast on.
Before arriving we wrote to hotel to advise time of arrival as it was fairly late in the day. We received e mail of thanks and on arrival were greeted by name and with a handshake.Throughout our stay we experienced great friendliness, courtesy, and personal attention at all times. The breakfasts were wonderful, fresh not pre-cooked and not left standing. Every meal was tasty with no surplus fat on the plates. Excellent choice of additional items. Our room, and the hotel generally was always.
I stayed at The Cimon with two friends in one of the triple rooms in October 2013, the room was clean and spacious with all the facilities we needed.
Adam was a great host, with some very amusing stories. We enjoyed spending time in the bar, playing pool and chatting to the other guests. Adam made sure all his guests enjoyed their stay, including marriage counselling which I think was a first and I'm sure is now the latest amusing tale he has to tell.
The hotel is in a great location close to T.
Wonderful two night stay, Adam and Anita looked after us so well and the breakfast was the best we have eaten. The location of the hotel is great for the town and the seafront and although they do not do food in the evening they make you feel very welcome to get a takeaway that you can eat in the hotel. I would like to try a seaview room next time as I hear the view is lovely. The whole hotel is very clean and the towels are the very best. I am going to bring the family back next time.
Very comfortable and warm. Large family room on the ground floor with sea view, recently refurbished and new furniture. Wet room(s) with fan, all toiletries and LARGE bath towels. TV, DVD, fridge, sofa and a comfortable chair. Huge English breakfasts and fruit, yoghurts, cereals etc. Bar with board games and light meals on request 6-8pm.
Adam and Anita were so friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We wish them every success.
We stayed there for 1 night and it was superb, the staff were really on the ball, the bar was open for aslong as we needed it was very close to the beach and living coasts, people also staying at the hotel were very friendly we would highly reccommened it to anyone with kids or without, and would deffinitely stay there again, breakfast was cooked to order and the drinks were a very good price. Can't fault it in any way.
When we arrived at the Cimon we were made to feel very welcome. Anita and Adam were always willing to help and give suggestions on where to visit. The Cimon provided for all our needs during our stay, the breakfast was 1st class and the room was exceptionally comfortable. We will certainly be going again and also will take the family on our next visit .
The hotel is clean and comfortable with good size bedrooms, a well stocked bar area with free pool and various games available. Breakfasts are freshly made, piping hot and cooked perfectly. The Cimon is only a short walk to the town and sea front. Adam and Anita are friendly and accomodating hosts who provide excellent hospitality.
very warm welcome from the host, really helpful and informative, asked if we had any special diets ie gluten free. This didnt apply to us as we were away on our own but our son who is on a special diet would have been happy as it is very difficult to accomodate it when your away. Maybe he will go and stay there soon .
Adam and the team all made us feel very welcome, the room, although, described as a compact double, was very comfortable, lovely big comfy bed. The breakfasts were amazing, catering for all tastes. All in all probably the best we've stayed in, in Torquay. And we've been there every year for several years. 10/10!.
The staff here could not have done more for us.
They were helpful and friendly
The breakfast was first class with a lovely selection of fresh fuits and fresh breads and juices and a beautifully cooked breakfast .
The bar was cosy and outside was a lovely pool {kids would love it].

Location to attractions in area.
The hot water did not work in our room but the owner did not hesitate to upgrade us to another room The hotel was operated by the owners who were very friendly and helpful would stay again.
Above all, it was the welcome and helpfulness that impressed us most. It was Adam who looked after us most, and he went out of his way to ensure that our time in the area was well spent.
The very friendly welcome by the owners when me and my five year old arrived. Explained everything about the hotel. Would recommend staying here to others and can't wait to return.
Friendly and helpful proprietors, excellent location and good value for money. If I return to Torquay I shall certainly start by seeing if the Cimon has a room available.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Food (breakfast) well-cooked and plenty of it. Location and price. Room newly refurbed and very well appointed. Ample on site car parking.
Relaxing, clean, comfortable, friendly, good location with a pool.
We were allowed to use the pool during the afternoon of the day we checked out, which was a big plus.
The only problem I had for me was that the matress was too firm, I
prefer a soft one, but that isnt a complaint its just my preference :)
loved it there! Defo go bk :).
Excellent, friendly and welcoming service with an excellent breakfast selection. We really enjoyed our stay and will be returning for a longer stay next time.
Friendly hosts and a well run team. Easy and relaxed atmosphere so made the stay very pleasant. We did have great weather so the pool came in very handy.
Excellent, friendly, welcoming staff. Excellent breakfast with great sausages! You can always tell a good breakfast by the standard of the sausages.
It was cosy, comfortable beds. Lovely cosy pub/ bar. Free access to

Lovely staff. Great location, 5 minutes walk to the shops and sea.
Fantastic breakfast.
Coming home to reality.
nothing to dislike.
Nothing.
There was nothing not to like.
Nothing.
room was quite small but a good price. Only one small critism, change the horrible rusty pedal bin in bathroom. It looked horrible.
Nothing negative to add.
nothing.
Cannot think of anything we disliked!.
We didn't like the fact that we had to come home as it was a short 2 night stay and wished we could have had longer there.
The room was quite small (but in keeping with the building design) but this really is nit-picking at a great little venue.
tiny bathroom; water from shower wetting most of the floor; lack of electric sockets for bedside lamps/ kettle.
Kept getting disturbed when guests entered the hotel as our room was by the main door.
Bathroom was tiny.
Water in shower area spreads across floor in wet area...would not want it to back up and flow onto carpet.
No top sheet on beds...had to remove duvet cover
Not having telephone access in room.
There was nothing we did not like.
There was nothing to displease us.
Nothing.
Nothing.
Shower room a little small for us.
None.
Very hot in the room, bath room was so tiny and narrow I struggled to
get passed the sink to the toilet. (I'm pregnant) the shower was
powerful but just drained away on the floor which didn't really
drain away so we had to put down our towels. They had a child's room
but I didn't feel it was child friendly as my toddler doesn't
understand do's and donts. Seagulls took a shine to our car and
bombarded it with poo. I asked for a room with a view and all we could
see was a building.
The shower was cramped and the pressure was poor.
Had a twin room very small bathroom.
Room is small. Bathroom is small. No elevator.
Small bedroom, but we did know this when we booked!.
Small bathroom.
Having to go home so soon.
No dislikes at all.
The weather :(.
Nothing.
people blowing there nose at the breakfast table we get one in every hotel we go in dont they understand it is rude and dirty when ppl are eating.
