Good service with friendly and welcoming staff. Clean and pleasant room. Good size car park, central location near beautiful gardens. Everything about the hotel, location, meals and service. Undercover car-parking (except overflow). could not fault the hotel. a very enjoyable stay. quiet ambiance, comfort, clean, I had a lovely restful stay and would love to come back for longer as I only had one night thank you. the beds were comfortable and the pillows not too bad, the pillows are often rubbish and too thin. the breakfast was very good.also,the location was superb.warm comfortable, excellent location and good carpark. convenient location and ease of parking. The bedroom walls are very thin, noisy next door neighbours kept me awake. Also the headboard is sharp, banged my head on it, quite dangerous.some noise from room above due to nosiy floorboards. The dining room was very cold in the morning, although there was an effort made on the second day to rectify this. The room curtains were a bit bedraggled! This is not a complaint, merely an observation!. Room temperature set at Reception, not in room (minor niggle). we were in a back room on the top floor and we could hear the air conditioning during the night and early morning.the beds only had blankets on. It's not about liking but making clearer twin room to us has been two beds next to each other,our room was 2 singles at different ends of the room. otherwise it was comfortable. room cold on return, quickly rectified by staff. Bed a little on the uncomfortable side. The staff in the breakfast room were extremely sombre and unorganized. It was an English buffet breakfast but on the two days we stayed there, there was never a full compliment of ingredents available on the buffet. Crockery was constantly being asked for by guests and you had to asked staff several times for things before you were appeased. have had better pillows. seemed to be a little short staffed when we were there. Very poor access from car park to hotel (stairs only, no ramp or help) when moving luggage. Yes, when I first arrived at the hotel, it looked very accommodating but when I then arrived in my room, there was 4 dead blue bottles, 1. on the bathroom worktop, 1 . on the dresing table and 2 very large disgusting ones on the bed. The bathroom in the room we stayed in was not cleaned properly. There was soap drippings left on the walls and toilet was dirty.no bin in the room. Breakfast was a little disappointing with some food undercooked one day and overdone the next.slightly faded / jaded -. My room was not serviced on 14 Nov 2008. Threadbear carpet in the bed room. The cost of the stay obviously reflected the quality of the room that was provided. The room was small, unplesent and to the rear/side of the hotel with no views. I've stayed in better for less and would think long and hard about staying again. The bar staff wore casual clothing not uniform. They spent more time on there mobile phones than serving.Man service at morning breakfast did not tell us where breakfast we didnt realise it was in another room and help ourseleves for breakfast not happy. The room not clean enough e.g. where tea/coffee surface on the TV not been clean. The room was tiny the view.

The White Hart Hotel and Conference Centre has long been known as one of the leading hotels in Harrogate. Its central location in the Montpellier quarter of the town, just a few minutes stroll from the International Centre means that this are the ideal venue for business or pleasure.
A buffet style full English breakfast is served each morning with cereals and a variety of beverages and fruits on offer. Many of the items on the breakfast menu have been sourced from local suppliers.
The comfortable lounge bar is the ideal place to relax after a long day at the Conference Centre or the shops! With large sofas, digital television, newspapers and a games cupboard (not to mention the bar) you will find something to keep you entertained.

The Royal Pump Room Museum (200 m) - housed in Harrogate's premiere spa building and site of Europe's strongest Sulphur Well, The Royal Pump Room Museum tells the story of Harrogate spa history.
The Mercer Art Gallery (300 m ) - home to the district's superb collection of fine art. Originally built in 1806 as Harrogate's first spa building, the gallery's 'Promenade Room' has been restored to its former glory.
Harrogate Golf Club (3 miles / 5 km) - a colonial style Clubhouse and mature parkland course provide the ideal setting for a relaxing round of golf.

All bedrooms are individually decorated and have their own character. However, they are all en suite and equipped with television, telephone, tea and coffee making facilities and plenty of storage space for your clothes.
Many rooms overlook the famous Stray parkland, and there are 3 bedrooms which are fully accessible for wheelchair users, with wheel-in showers, adjustable sinks and handrails.

By car:
From the A61 (north):
- Follow the A61 towards Harrogate.
- At the end of Ripon Road, turn right into Crescent Road.
- Take the next left into Montpellier Road.
- Continue straight across the roundabout onto Cold Bath Road.
- The hotel is on your right.
From the A61 (south):
- Follow the A61 towards central Harrogate.
- After you have passed a roundabout onto West Park Street, you will approach a junction.
- Take the left fork onto Montepellier Hill.
- Take the 1st exit at the roundabout onto Cold Bath Road.
- The hotel is on your right.
From the A1:
- Exit the A1 at the A59.
- Follow signs to Harrogate city centre.
- At the roundabout, head straight across to join the A6040 (Knaresborough Road).
- At the next roundabout, turn right onto West Park Street.
- When you approach a junction, take the left fork onto Montepellier Hill.
- Take the 1st exit at the roundabout onto Cold Bath Road.
- The hotel is on your right.
Parking:
Parking is available at the rear of the hotel. This can be accessed from Cold Bath Road.
