A charming country house in the village of Broadmayne, Old Church Farm was once part of an estate belonging to King Henry VIII. It still retains many traditional 16th-century features.
The bedrooms all feature scenic views of the garden and surrounding village. They each have a flat-screen TV, and tea and coffee-making facilities.
Guests can enjoy full English or continental breakfast in the dining room, with wooden beaming and an inglenook fireplace. There is also a peaceful, walled garden to relax in.
Old Church Farm is just 15 minutes’ drive from the coast.There is free private parking on site, and secure storage for cycling or watersports equipment.

Absolutely brilliant! A real gem of a place. We spent almost 5 hours trawling the sites and it was well worth it to come across this lovely place! Homemade jams, scones and flapjacks (I want the recipes for the flapjacks!) and chickens in the garden!Beautiful rooms, fabulous food and lovely hosts. We loved the decor, the setting, the closeness to various places yet set within tranquility. Couldn't possibly ask for more!Lovely!. все обзоры »
The owners are fantastic. They helped us incredibly when we arrived in a taxi with no money, made lots of phone calls for us and helped us sort out our car hire problems. We couldn't have asked for more support. The home and the breakfast were great too.
A charming guest house. From the thatched roof to the fine china cups in the tea making facilities to the view from our window of the old church across the road, it was a memorable experience. Bob our host even helped us up the stairs with our luggage.

breakfast was wonderful and so was the place settings. My friend and I
thoroughly enjoyed it and will refer it to anyone we know travelling to
England. Very friendly host. Loved it.
The owners have researched the history of this lovely old building and have kept many original features. The location is good for local attractions. Home made and local produce is a treat. The room was large with good views.
our room was large clean and lovely .breakfast was great even met the hens who layed the eggs for b/fast, lovely homemade jams,bob the owner was very welcoming and told us some great places to visit, in all a lovely stay.
Nice cosy b&b with very friendly owners and staff and comfortable beds. Homemade cakes and good cooked breakfast and very convenient for Dorchester and the Dorset coastline. Recommended.

Pleasant easy-going atmosphere in a characterful old thatched cottage, set in a small Dorset village handy for Dorchester and the Dorset coast & attractions.

Everything from the owners, the local history of the property, the house, the food, the fruit trees in the garden... our stay was too short.
Friendly staff and welcoming. It's the little touches such as the shortbread biscuits left in jars for guests in rooms that did it for me!.
An excellent bed and breakfast - good size bedroom with large bathroom. Breakfast was excellent. Would recommend to anyone.

A towel rail would be good although the age of the building made space in the bathroom tight.
only thing to watch out for is the turning into the court yard of b&b is on the narrow side so if you have a car bigger than a fiesta park in the church cark park across road.
