Location is just perfect - 5 min walk to the Blue Mosque and Aya Sofia.
Nice breakfast at the terrace - though the terrace is in another hotel (5 min walk) which was weird.
Rooms are okay - middle level but clean.
Very helpful staff though speaking hardly any language apart from Turkish)) (in our building)

Apart from navigating through narrow uneven streets of Sultanahmet you can't ask anything more than what this hotel can offer. The reception desk was super helpful and informative. It was our 5th trip to Istanbul and we found Tashkonak Studio Suites to be one of the best hotels in Sultanahmet and one of the highlights of our wonderful 5 days in Istanbul. We liked everything there: the friendly and very helpful staff; exquisite design of the hotel and our room in particular (wooden floors, comfortable and stylish furniture, spacious, cosy and clean room and bathroom); great location on a quiet street and at the same time in the vicinity of the main attractions and the sea;

The flat was superb - almost brand new - extremely comfortable,spacious, warm and well equipped. It was cleaned daily - there was nothing for us to do. We even had a patio area complete with the usual furniture, which we used for a relaxing drink at the end of each day.

We could not fault this flat! - The rooms were immaculately clean and were beautifully furnished. The owner of the hotel provided excellent customer service and was extremely helpful (even to the extent of coming out on his motorbike to guide us to the suites when we were "slightly lost") about all aspects of our stay in Istanbul. Children can't wait to go back for a second visit. Would highly recommend it!!!

The manager of the hotel, Mr.Yusuf&the staff at the hotel were incredibly welcoming and friendly! The hotel was nice and safe& the rooms were clean.
