The service is outstanding. Attention to detail is what distinguishes this hotel from many others. Rooms -
everything was perfect. food, location, staff, cleaning. Staff is very kind and friendly. Nearly every night there is a social event like wine tasting and free tapas. They arrange many facilities like snorkelling (must try) and island tours. Also they put flowers every part of hotel and really smells good :). Rooms are really big and over quality.
There are only 50 rooms in this hotel so that it is not crowded and quality oriented. Loved here.

We stayed 2 night in Pimalai at the end of 4 weeks honeymoon trip. the hotel is located right on the beach spreading further towards the hill. the beach is quite nice but depend on the tide state. we really liked the room which was really comfortable, the breakfast (they have macaroons.. :), the shed in front of the beach. The service is nice, both pools are incredible. They have nice facilities for free at the beach. "why not" bar is great.

The modern clean design. All rooms have an ocean view. Only 15 rooms. Food is great. Quiet and private. Surrounded by nature. Shona was entertaining and accommodating. -
Each room has an amazing view of the ocean, its a great outlook. The building is modern and the staff are extremely friendly. We will definitely stay there again.

I like everytrees and atmosphere in the resort, they look natural and shady. Probably the best hotel experience in our life.
We stayed 3days and everything was perfect: staff, food, facilities, swimming pool, beach, kayak, happy hour for the sunset...

Nakamanda is a fabulous resort, not too big and perfect for having a relaxed stay in beautiful surroundings. The staff is wonderful, from reception to restaurant to spa.We had a very nice contact with Book and with Brem, so special thanks to them, they were so service minded and friendly. This is a wonderful resort that is small, personal, and quiet. Our room was perfect and the bathroom was just amazing. The bathroom brings the outside into the room with lot's of natural lighting. The location and the incredibly friendly and co-operative staff and the facilities and the access to some many other retail and recreational outlets. The pool is excellent and the fact that the hotel provides IPADs to all guests was a real bonus. Finally, the food exceeded our expectations.

This is a wonderful hotel with very nice and helpful staff! the location (Klong Dao beach) is the best on Ko Lanta. The teritory of the hotel is very beautiful and peaceful, and villas are just fantastic! We were upgraded for free for beachfront villa (low season), so this villa was amazing, very well furnished! WiFi was everywhere for free. We really recommend this hotel!

I cannot say enough about how much we loved our time at this hotel! The staff was AMAZING. Everyone was falling over themselves to be helpful and welcoming. The front desk staff was warm and incredibly helpful with scheduling tours, suggesting restaurants, etc.. The hotel itself is so beautiful. An oasis from the hustle and bustle of Ao Nang. I wasn't sure about not having a beachfront hotel, but the grounds were so beautiful I can't imagine staying anywhere else.

Beautiful resort located about 40 min away from Krabi airport. For such
a luxurious resort, prices for food/drink were reasonable. Thai
food was very tasty and staff is exceptional and most speak English.

very quiet, only 20 guest (high season 300). Location was nice, but you have to rent a motorbike (4 euro/day) to explore the island more. Beautiful garden and ponds (with some Iguanas in it) in the center of the hotel, so nice view from breakfast area, which is on 2nd floor. We sat at the balcony, very nice.

Friendly and courteous staff, great central location on the island (scooter rental available on site). Very relaxing environment...conducive to both couples and families.
Relative to other places such as Phuket, Lanta is a safe place to ride a scooter, especially if you avoid high speeds and riding at night. As a result, the central location of the resort makes it a great place to be if you want to get out and explore for a few days!
