  The bed was the hardest yet on my 3 month trip in S.E.Asia, but we solved it by putting a the mattress from an extra-bed on top. It was very comfortable. Unlike many other hotels/hostels in the same area, there was air and space - in the outdoor restaurant, the garden and the courtyard for parking. There was a washing machine! Very good. Theres a great cafe a 3 minute walk from here called Chomp that has amazing food and homemade bread and amazing service.

  Good walking distance to the ' great palace and others. Only 3-4 minuts walking to the pier where you can take the boat into the city for only 15 baht p.p. On the last pier station (Taksin Station) you can walk easily to the skybar or take the skytrain to siamcenter etc. The room was clean and had everything for a good 2-4 day citytrip.   Absolutely fantastic for budget travelers or clean room searchers in Bangkok. We really appreciated the location, right in the middle of one of the greatest areas of the capital city. You can reach everything on foot and tuk-tuk and taxis are at the end of the street for further tours around. The receptionist that welcomed us the first day was kind of grumpy but the next morning, the old lady - It was a very clean hostel, close to the Kao san road, where you can find a really cheap market.   I just really liked this hotel. It is on Khosan Road so it does get noisy, but it does not last throughout the night. If you are early to bed....then you may want to go elsewhere. Staff - they were so nice, very accommodating and smiles which is rare in that area. Room was spotless with some very nice touches. Towels were big, clean, white and fl... что говорят » uffy. The best part, and you don't see this often, was the shower - plenty of hot, lovely clean - We requested an early check in, and they let us check in at 6am, which was great as we arrived by bus from a 14 hour trip.   We stayed here for the last two nights of our trip, normally we stay across the road at the Villa Cha Cha. My son has stayed at the Green House on numerous occasions and told me that it was a place that I really wouldn't choose to stay, but I thought give it a go!! If Khao San road is where you want to be then I would recommend this hotel over any other. 10/10 for me because the staff are nice, the rooms are nice and the food is great and really cheap :)

  Good location, there are plenty of eating options nearby. There is a river boat stop closeby, so it is easy to get around in the city. The hotel has daily room service, and complimentary two bottles of water are provided daily.
