that place is just paradise, we absolutely loved it. beach is amazing and the entire hotel premises are beautifully set in a garden surrounded by jungle and just right at the beach. furthermore, we booked a very special rate on letsbookhotel.com due to low-season (october 2013) so it was indeed an excellent value for money ratio and we even got an upgrade for one of the villas for the last night.

The hotel was quiet, enjoyed the location being away from the hussel and bussel of the towns, Some really nice and cheap restaurants 10 minutes walk away.. Tom's was a good one and I would go back.. the Hotel resuarant was also very good but Tom's was much cheaper. The Gardens were very nice, a tidy! -

Hotel building style with Thai chalets having wooden floors made a nice change from normal blocks.
Good food reasonably priced.
Well worth a visit for 3 or 4 nights. -
The staff was very friendly. We loved the hotel restaurant and the big tree bar. It was an excellent hotel for a very relaxing week.

Very easy to get to town from the resort by taxi / motorcycle.

We stayed for 3nights and were upgraded to a pool access room. Unprompted, the hotel presented me with a birthday cake-a lovely surprise, thank you.
Great location easy walk to all the restaurants. 2 min walk to beach. -

Spent five days here. Requested ground floor room which they provided. Large room with good size bathroom and small garden out back. Bed was hard. They put a comforter over the mattress which made a bit of difference. Pool is great. This property is split into three areas. We were in the tower part with the big pool away from the beach. The room and pool was fantastic, the staff especially at the restaurant
were very nice. Khao Lak is a great place to visit, but you do require
transport such as a scooter if you wish to get around. Taxi are on,ly
150b to the main area of town but may be more at night. If you wish to
chill by the pool or beach and eat in the restaurants in the surrounding
area which there is a lot to choose from transport is not a problem.

Hotel is really an idyllic place and fantastic retreat:
1) area of the hotel is big and full of treas and flowers!Even concrete roads have a print of the leaves so you really have "close to nature" feeling.
2) staff is friendly, always smiling, cleaning was proper and do not disturb me. Aroma lamps with herb oil creates fantastic odor.

We recently stayed at Khao Lak Resort and extended our stay by one night because we absolutely loved the relaxing atmosphere of the hotel. The staff were all lovely and friendly, the breakfast was fantastic with a huge choice of food available and our room was a lot bigger than expected with a view down through to the pool. The room was very clean and welcoming.
