  A lovely family run hotel with great views of Lake Maggiore and the Alps. The owners and staff were very welcoming and helpful and it was easy to be understood in english if necessary.   Huge and amazing apartment. We stayed at the garden floor one, the big one. Extremely fun. Wireless works great. The owner doesn't know english at all, so either you know Italian or some other Euro language, or be ready to use Google Translate.   We regularly travel to Italy by car and so need a place to overnight in Switzerland. This is the best place we've stayed - you really can't fault it. It's close to the motorway,Gottard tunnel and so easy to find, but quiet. Plenty of parking, good size clean, comfortable rooms, good food at reasonable prices, very pleasant lounge and bar areas.
