  The owner was wonderful, very welcoming and had plenty of info about what to do and where to go in town. The apartment was very clean and modern. It's about a 5 minute bus ride to the town center or about a 20 minute walk if you are out later than the bus runs. Also about a 15 minute walk down the hill to Männlichenbahn. If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing stay t - We loved everything about our stay: the gorgeous view, friendly host family, high standard apartment, great value for money and easy access to skiing. This was the first time we booked this as hotels were full or too expensive in the area, aren't I glad that we did - this was home away from home. I booked direct with the v friendly owner.   This place is absolutely top notch. It is very modern and absolutely gorgeous inside. Sitting on one side of the mountain, when the gondolas are running, all you need to do is hop on the Grindelwald gondola and make your way toward Wengen or wherever you desire to go. Trip into the valley of Lauterbrunnen/Schilthorn/etc. etc. is easy. We even saw L - We just came from Chalet Bargblick. We were completely satisfied. Appartment was very nice furnished, equipped (very nice kitchen, bathroom, fireplace....) and cleaned. View on Grindenwald and mountains was wonderfull. Cog railway to Kleine Scheidegg is just very closed to the house and the station is 5 min. walk down the hill. Marianna and Lorenz were quite kind and hospitable, children could go for milk to next cowshed, touched small cows and were quite happy. For us it was one of the best pr
