  Fantastic location. Hard to get there though as it is about 10km from Dambulla. The food was best we have had in Sri Lanka so far. The infinity pool is beautiful as it looks out to the lake. The room was very comfortable. Ambience is devine. It makes a great base to see the surrounding district. We were greeted by Monica the elephant and given an upgrade. Thank you fr that. The location and view fr the restaurant on 6th floor are the things that set this property apart. A definate must fr anyone visiting Sri Lanka.

  The setting and customer service were great. We arrived in the late afternoon, and the spa staff stayed late so that we could get massages since it was our only night at the hotel.
