  Oasis Villa , excellent is the best way to describe this hotel, large clean rooms and bathroom lovely garden and pool area . Friendly , helpful staff , breakfast whilst typical of most hotels, this one was a step above all the others . Whilst not directly on the beach , there is a walkway across the road. Everything you need is within walking distanc - The Oasis Villa is a nice hotel just across the road from the beautiful beach. It's close to communications, and you can catch the bus to villages near by. The breakfast is served by nice staff and consists of tea or coffee, egg, toast and a plate of fresh fruit. The hotel has a nice pool. The owner of the hotel, (Kingsley), is doing everything to make you feel welcome, and always helps you out if there is anything you need. It has lovely large rooms, beautiful design, great beach location, and not very big -- nice boutique hotel. It's proximity to Galle made it easy to travel there and back as with young kids we didn't want to do Galle all in one day.

  The location was excellent. Calmer part of the beach. We stayed in a Deluxe ocean front room and had a beautiful view. Very friendly and helpful staff. 15 minute walk from the train station or a 150 lkr tuk- tuk ride. The buffet breakfasts were very impressive, western options as well as some Sri Lankan options. We had our first snorkeling experience and it was truly amazing what we saw, including sea turtles and hundreds of different fish species. Do not miss that! The staff was very friendly and helpful when asked - beds and chairs were comfortable and the view from the balcony was great
