  It was in a great location, very close to the bus stop which connected the AVE train sation. I was given a room with a view of the local church which I had asked for in advance. The staff were very warm and friendly and helped with tips before I arrived. It was also very homely and traditional and extremely clean. There was a handy vending machine... что говорят » which sold beers, water, snacks etc. - Extremely helpful staff, able to speak several languages, but very patient and helpful with my modest Spanish. We went to Segovia to see the aqueduct and Don Jaime is in the perfect spot. True, parking is a bit tricky, but the receptionist took time to walk us up there and gave us great directions for driving to it.

  The Hotel Don Felipe was a very pleasant surprise and completely lived up to our expectations. The hotel kept up correspondence with us and gave very good advice by email on how best to get to the hotel due to recent construction in nearby streets. Unfortunately, our ferry was cancelled twice and we missed our allocated time slot for changing the hotel booking but when we phoned the receptionist it "not a problem" to change to another night, in fact Mariano was very helpful. The room had a lovely view of the garden and the alcazar (we did ask for a view after reading the reviews) and was very clean, crisp sheets, good shower. We will recommend this

It has the best air- conditioning, the most comfortable beds & pillows, the best tv, and the fastest Internet out of any of our hotels in this country so far. The decor is really cute (our bathroom was - The location is great, right next to the aqueduct. However, the fact that it is on a pedestrian-only street made it hard to find. We ended up parking some distance away and finding the hotel on foot. The gentleman on duty really went out of his way to help us. He came with me to the car and rode with me to show me the way to the car park, which was 14 euros for the night with the hotel discount.
