  Loved the location and the staff were very friendly (I'd say the friendliest we had in two weeks in Spain). Room was clean and bed comfortable. Our interior room was very plain but also very quiet. Liked the signs around the Pension asking guests to be respectful of others and keep noise down. Very close to the old town and all the bars and restaurants but far away enough you don't have sleepless nights from bar noise. The hostel is around the high end stores and it's a pleasure to stroll back to the place after doing the town. You can walk everywhere from it. A small balcony allows you to air the space.

For me this was a last minute booking, I had intended on staying at another place where my friends were staying, but that didn't work out so booked into PI instead - and I'm so glad I did! Ibon, the owner, was extremely helpful - giving us information about restaurants, tourist sites, etc. We stayed in two rooms - a double on the second floor (the grandparents) and the apartment on the sixth floor (family with 2 small children). Ibon is renovating the building so there was no elevator but this will be finished in a few weeks. And, as active people, this did not bother us at all.   This was a very pleasant pension. We had a double and a single room for our daughter. The rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable. It was quite well located with only a ten minute walk to the old town where we spent a lot of time. The coffee which is free was lovely.
