  We have stayed in the apart hotel in the middle of May for a little bit more than a week. Requested a move after the first night as our balcony overlooked the main road and it was noisy very early. We were moved to another apartment overlooking the pool. Although the apartments are very close to shopping, bars, etc, it is very quiet and peaceful within the complex.

  The accommodation is clean and generally well maintained. The property is under a programme of refurbishment so in due course will be even better. We were a family of three adults and two children in a two bed apartment which was big enough and well equipped before the refurb. The pool areas are in good condition with a good number of beds.   The friendly helpful couple who owned the hotel. Nothing was too much trouble, providing scales to weigh our luggage, milk for morning tea before a very early departure and a good fairly plain dinner (inspite of a big football match on the tv!) We liked the atmosphere and decor, which was very imaginative, lovely rustic furniture, loads of flowers... что говорят » and plants - the lady of the house was very artistic. The hotel doesn't look much from the outside, but don't be deceived, inside is lovely. - Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location: it's close (some 10km) from downtown Santa Cruz with a good and easy road to go to and from and yet, you're in the countryside (very quiet) +, since it's relatively high altitude, it's likely you will be above the clouds in the winter... Although it's far from the Teide volcano as the crow flies, the road to the Park is pretty straight, it might take less time to drive to the Park from Las Cañadas than from a location at the coast!
