  Just returned from a touring holiday of Andalucia and the Casa San Jose was without doubt the best of the six hotels we stayed in during our visit. The hotel is a cross between a hotel, a palace and family home and will not disappoint anyone who walks in through the front door - this place certainly has the wow factor! It has been the family home of the owner for over 30 years and is filled with beautiful old furniture and objets d'art. The house is built round a typical Cordoban patio and is spacious and very comfortable. You are asked to make yourself at home.The breakfast is excellent and varied with fresh fruit and an ample Continental breakfast. The owners are friendly and helpful. They gave excellent advice about places to eat and exploring the local area.

I parked in the Mezquita parking which was cheaper and meant I didn't have to drive into the Jewish quarter. If you want to use the parking of the hotel, I suggest to keep your car outside the Jewish quarter close to the Alcazar/ Calle Dr. Fleming, walk a few meters and await the instructions of the hotel before driving into the small streets.   The hotel is in an excellent locaton, underground parking is very good.The staff are friendly and very helpful. The room was lovely. We askedto borrow an iron and ironing board and got them, other hotels had saidthey didnt lend these to guests. Free internet access was great whilstin other hotels you needed to have your own laptop. Nice pool.
