The apartment was great for a group of 6 people (2 couples and 2 friends). It was situated perfectly for shopping and eating. It was easy to find and communication with the staff was excellent as well. If you not use to city life, then this may not be for you. The Gothic Quarter, La Rambla, Modernista Barcelona with the Gaudi masterpieces and Joan Miro art, the plazas and markets, Roman ruins, the parks, waterfront and mountains, all very accessible with the excellent metro system and fantastic tourist bus made our 5 day trip one of the most interesting holidays I have ever had. A perfect retreat with a personel greeting from the hosts, a bottle of their wine, condiments and a baskets of vegetables fom their garden. The views were brillant and the area superb for cycling. It's the personel touch that makes the difference. We loved every minute.

The owners couldn't have been more friendly and helpful even keeping a parking space oustide the appartment for us and providing a lovely welcome pack of chocolates and beer, milk and soft drinks in the fridge. A great location in the heart of city centre. Couldn't recommend highly enough.
