Just got back and everything about this place is as good as earlier reviews say it is. I was tempted not to add comments so I could keep this gem to myself. The staff are excellent: professional and competent whilst also friendly and good humoured. The Hotel Illa d'Or has a magnificent setting, with wonderful views both of sea and mountains; and located in a quiet spot towards the end of the Pine Walk, which makes a lovely short promenade to the centre. The staff were excellent, on every level. Very child friendly with kids club, indoor pool was a life send in the bad weather. Apartment was a great size for our family of 5. I can't say enough about the staff, they were so efficient. The entertainment at night for kids and adults was great. We're going back again! Food was great too.

We were very pleased with this hotel. It was clean , well ran , friendly and one of the best hotels we have stayed in. The food was excellent and plenty of variety. The rooms were cleaned daily. Clean towels when needed. The hotel was not in a noisy location which was nice late evening if you want to enjoy an early night .

All the staff has been amazingly pleasant and making you feel welcome. The hotel is very well equipped and modern, as are the rooms. The food at breakfast and dinner is delicious with a large choice in a buffet style. Overall fantastic place!

Cannot fault this amazing place in any way! We go every year & have done for the past 4 years, it really gets into your system! The staff are lovely, the animation team are outstanding, the food & drink are lively & facilities cannot be faulted, love it!

Staff were ever so friendly. I was only bed and breakfast but the food was great. Room was lovely and it was very peaceful only a few mins walk to the lovely sandy beech. I would definitely stay again and would take my kids there as the entertainment looked great -

The staff is very friendly and you really have the feeling that they are there to take care of you. The hotel is a very good and the rooms are great. Without question, this hotel deserves only praise. Fantastic facilities, friendly staff, welcoming to families and not too big. Excellent location in less crowded part of the long beach strip and fantastic value for money, especially as it offers apartments rather than a hotel room. The area around Port Alcudia is also very interesting to explor

The location of the hotel is really great for the Port of Alcudia and transport links to all other Majorcan towns. The bus service is right outside the door. There is a lovely little beach across the road. And the promenade across the road leads to the rest of the bay. Also not forgetting the very pleasant staff. Thank you to all. We also enjoyed
