Only 10 min. Taxi drive from airport. The hotel was renovated 2013.
Close to beach, restaurants and shops. We stayed one week (half board)
at end of October 2013, and at this time of the year season ends.

Location is excellent - the beach is a street across and it is 10 mins away from the airport. Facilities are good too - decent sized swimming pool, pool table, gym, spa facilities... The hotel is located in a large, nice, green park with many trees. Quiet rooms with basic, but practical furniture. Nice, friendly staff, good food. 6 well maintained clay tennis courts, available for all day. -
The staff were so attentive, rooms were immaculate. The resort had everything you needed. Great for young families! Food was superb!

Isla Mallorca well deserves it 4 stars the breakfast buffet had a fantastic choice. The staff were very helpful. Being in a quiet area of Palma the facillities at the hotel refelected this every thing was available. our group of 9 were very impressed. - the staff - excellent trained , the room - excellent , everything was excellent

The hotel was great value, the pool area was very well laid out. The choice of buffet or A La Carte was good and the food in the restaurant at the pool area was very good. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Overall the hotel was pleasant. We would go back but would request a floor above the third level. -

The staff is very friendly and you really have the feeling that they are there to take care of you. The hotel is a very good and the rooms are great. Take your laptop and a lan cable and you'll have internet free in your room - Excellent location for a few quiet days; fantastic views; swimming off the rocks was great; good pool; very friendly staff

Just got back and everything about this place is as good as earlier reviews say it is. I was tempted not to add comments so I could keep this gem to myself. The staff are excellent: professional and competent whilst also friendly and good humoured. The Hotel Illa d'Or has a magnificent setting, with wonderful views both of sea and mountains; and located in a quiet spot towards the end of the Pine Walk, which makes a lovely short promenade to the centre.
