  Everything - I cannot reccomend this hotel enough. It is set just 5 minsfrom marbella and 10mins from puerto banus by car. It is on top of thehills with amazing veiws of the sea. The Hotel itself is spotless,decorated in Asian style to perfection and so personal as there are only5 rooms. And the service is outstanding! The staff were fantastic, very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble, the personal touch goes a long way. The hotel was wonderful, very relaxing and comfortable, beautifully decorated, a real home from home. This was the best trip away in many years. Bravo!!!! Would definitely return.

  The apartment was fantastic, a real home from home. The staff at the Kids Club and the Sports Activities Manager were wonderful.   Good food and accommodation - Nice location, friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is new, clean and quite an impressive building, nice pool and access to good beach. Buffet food of generally high standard, although very large and impersonal eating area. Good undercover secure and free parking.

The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient and the location of the hotel with less than a 2 minute walk from the hotel to the beautiful barrosa beach was excellent.   We loved staying at Casares Golf Gardens. It was very quiet and all the things you need in the area. We’ve both had a much needed relaxed break, and have enjoyed plenty of local wine & cuisine! Hope the weather is as kind for you as it was for us, once again, many thanks.

Mostly older guests (over 50) and very quiet for a resort. Also loved that no children are allowed since this hotel is 18 and over. The beach is exceptionally clean and beautiful.   Location: at the seaside with beautiful views. Good and large breakfast, good cuisine. We booked a studio, but when we arrived the building with the studio's was closed. We were upgraded to a junior suite with balcony and seaview. The hotel has a nice atmosphere. All the staff speak English. A lovely place to relax a - I don't usually bother writing reviews but I feel compelled to say a few lines about El Ocean. What a great place. You can't fault it for anything, great service, amazing pool, killer views and excellent food in the restaurant. It was the perfect finish to our holiday in Europe prior to our return to New Zealand. Thumbs up to John and the team.
