  The hotel is located in the center of the city only a short two blocks from the Sol Metro station. We could walk to the major areas of interest and the Atocha train station (cab with luggage). There are dozens of tapas bars near the hotel. Finding "sit down" dinner restaurants was tougher but when we did the food was excellent. In addition, the price for the room represented excellent value for money and if the hotel had not been fully-booked, we would have stayed longer at it.

  I liked the location of the hotel as it was in the middle of Gran Via, opposite Callao Metro and approx. 3 minutes stroll from Gran Via Metro. Both lines were what I needed access to for each trip I went on. The room was very clean and the staff changed towels daily which was nice. - Excellent location - right in the heart of Madrid.   Absolutely loved the Casa de Madrid- easily one of the loveliest places we have ever stayed. All the staff were exceptionally friendly, nothing was too much trouble, really genuinely lovely people taking great care to make our holiday as good and memorable as it could be. There is a great pride in the owner and the people who work there of the traditional and beautiful bui - It's not a hotel in conventional way. I like the ambience and all the elegant deco with a home style. Quite and lots of privacy in good location like this is really extrodinary. Very friendly staff provided good help on the train schedule and wifi in short/late time. We met the hostress when leaving at the door and she was a nice lady! Unique experience and strongly recommend to those people interested in culture.
