Great location in the border of the Old City quarter, less than 10 minutes from Catedral and 15 from the Alameda (good place for going out at night).
The place is absolutely quiet, far away from crowded streets and noise.

The staff are very helpful and genuinely keen to serve us. Walking distance to many touristic sights, cafes and restaurants. Heads up to the cleaning lady who cleans up the room everyday! Big plus. It's a fairly good hotel. It should be rated more than 1 star. I've stayed in 3 stars hotels which could be considered worse than Puerta Carmona. The location is excellent: near coach and train station and also to the historical city centre. I arrived very early and could check in at 6 am!

Pension Montorena is ideally located--15 to 20 minutes walk from major attractions. The facility is very clean and security is excellent. You have to be buzzed in and there is someone at reception around the clock. The staff is very attentive, polite and knowlegeable and was able to answer all of our questions and offered excellent suggestions.

Friendly and informative at reception, even though I did not speak any Spanish. Facilities simple but all provided, even a bath! Very good location, once found, no time limit at night. Clearly v. good value on line. -

Staff in the reception was very friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was really nice and staff allways provided us with a bottle of water before leaving the hotel. All in all a fine hotel but nothing extraordinary except very helpful staff. Location was good but very hard to find. Thanks to the review of a previous guest we mentioned the name Plaza Santa Cruz to the taxi driver which we took after we parked our car at a far away and very expensive public parking. The breakfast buffet was 5 Euros and there was a different choice of coffee, cereal, yoghurt, bread, meat and cheese. The room was large and clean with high ceilings and the wifi signal was strong. A woman at the front desk was very helpful and voluntarily gave us a lot of information about the history of the city, what to do and what to see. She was great. The location was good, too. It's within walking distance to both Alcazar and Seville Cathedral.
