The apartment was half the price of two hotel rooms in the Gothic Quarter for our party of 5. The location was great, but it was a 5-8 minute walk from where we had to pick up our key, so it was a haul because we had a TON of luggage and 2 people in their 70s. Simple sleek minimal style accomodation. We had attic apartment and were pleasantly surprised to find a great outdoor terrace with loungers and table and stools. Great views amongst the rooftops of the barri gothic. Felt safe and secure. Helpful staff around most of the day. Pretty high up with massive drop off terrace so perhaps not great if your kids are naughty and don't listen to your absolute rules re looking over the edge! Great location even though the neighbourhood looks a little dodgy at first. 2 minute walk to the cathedral, 10 minute walk to La Rambla and Placa Catalunya and 15 minute walk to the beach. Clean apartment with all the basic furniture you need. -

Location was the best right in the gothic area in the Placa San Jaume square. I loved the attic room . Very spacious and the terrace was to die for. Bed was a wee bit hard but not an issue. Location is excellent: the center of old city. You need less than 5 minutes to go to Rambla (with metro station), port, Catalunia square. Appartments were clean (we took two bedroom appartments), kitchen had everything that we need. It's small, but large terrace has table that we used for our meals.

Perfect location in the middle of the Old Town, there are two subway stations nearby (Liceu, Jaume I) from which the whole city could be reached very quickly. Also very close to La Rambla and to the famous Barceloneta beach.

The apartment is located in the centre of Barcelona (close to the cathedral). It's a proper apartment for two people or maybe three if you don't have any problems sleeping on a couch. The interior is okay for you won't stay too long insinde the apartment.
There is a TV (we didn't used it and a good music station for iphone ....).

The rooms were very modern and well fitted out having plenty of space and the bathrooms were great.
Staff were very polite and helpful.
I did not use the bar or restaurant facilities so cannot comment on these but they looked good.

We had a very warm greeting as soon as we entered the Hotel, from Alex. Although in travelling, my expectations do not include that everyone speaks English; but, your staff spoke it extremely well, which makes travelling so much easier.
