  The staff members went beyond the call of duty on more than one occasion to accommodate us and make our stay as pleasant as possible. Facilities are basic however for the money you would be hard pushed to find somewhere as good as this place. Also taking the location into consideration, I don't believe more facilities would benefit the hostal much... что говорят » as it is situated so close to the city centre you will find yourself with so much to do on your doorstep you probably won't use the hostal for anythi - The Hostal is run by extreamly polite Indian gents and is in a perfect location for a city visit (only yards from the Ramblas). I saw reviews criticizing the wi-fi but I had a strong connection all holiday. We stayed in a double en-suite room and although basic, it was immaculatly clean, with beds made up each day and clean towels every 2 days. The bed was extreamly comfortable and there was always plenty of hot water in the shower. Great place to stay if you want a cheap holiday. ps. felt ver

Hostel was clean and situation perfect, not in a bad area at all. You can watch the police men walk under your balcony in a quite busy street :) I will definitely stay here also the next time I´m in Barcelona!

  Location is literally right around the corner from gothic quarters, 5 minutes from Picasso Musuem, 8 minutes from Plaza Catalunya. It was safe and clean.   We had some problem the first night: they booked a room for us in another hotel 'cause we were in sort of overbooking. But from the second day the stay was great. To apologize they leave us one of the best room (and for a day more), give us breakfast for free (at the bar nearby) and discount part of the ammount. The place is in a great position, the room was clean and quiet, just little bit dark - The place was super clean. The interieur was modern and cosy, and the matresses were excellent for sleeping. Great location for sightseeing, shopping, or beach.

  Central location is perfect for walking all over town. It is right by Placa Catalyna where the buses from the airport arrive and metro station as well as trains out of Barca. Our second stay we were given room 202 which is a double with on-suite bath and a balcony onto main street. People watching was great fun. If you want uber posh it's not for you. - The staff was generally friendly/helpful. The Day staff are more english helpful/friendly, the night staff generally doesn't know anything other than Spanish & a lot stricter, but was the same at all my friends hostels anyways. Good price & great location. Was very quiet as needed too.

  Located literally in the middle of El Gotic: few steps from the Cathedral, Placa Catalunya, and Placa Jaume. Friendly owner, spacious rooms. Even lack of elevator doesn't make it less convenient.   We stayed in the huge attic apartment on the 7th floor of a fantastic old building. The location is central for sightseeing, shopping and eating. There is a terrace with table and chairs overlooking other rooftops, ideal in morning and evening. We arranged to meet a member of staff at an agreed time as there is no reception.   We absolutely loved this pension. The location is fantastic, right next door to the Picasso museum for the culture vultures and stumbling distance (literally) which can be useful, from loads of great bars and restaurants. Our room was immaculately clean, fresh sheets and towels everyday and had a small balcony overlooking the street. The staff were really great, helpful friendly and funny. - Excellent location - heart of the city, friendly staff, pretty clean and the price was good for a solo traveller. Shared wc and bathrooms are not a problem - there's enough of them for all rooms (shower works 08 am - 10 pm, just keep it in mind). Wireless Internet was online, which helped me to plan my daily trips.
