Originally built in the 13th century, Castillo de Arteaga was restored in the 19th century in the Neogothic style. Very large rooms, well appointed. Fantastic restaurant. Great roof gardens. Quiet location in a very charming part of Spain. This is a beautiful hotel with an amazingly friendly staff. The food was wonderful. We loved everything it was much better than what we expected. Quite expensive but good value for money. we loved everything there was nothing we did not like.
