It is located really close to the main square so an ideal location to explore the old town.   Very good position close to the historic centre of the town. We booked a junior suite which wasn't really a suite, but a big room with a very big bathroom. Staff were exceptionally helpful.   Lovely hotel. The inside is much better than the outside. don't judge a book ... We had a good welcome from the friendly staff and the room was clean and comfortable. It's a short walk to the Plaza Mayor once you get your bearings.   The hotel was in an excellent location on the Plaza Mayor. Very close to the monuments, shopping and restaurants. The hotel is about a 30 minute walk from the bus station - very manageable. I had a room that faced the street with a nice balcony - a bit noisy on Friday and Saturday night but that is to be expected. Would - This hotel is a gem (as long as you don't mind carrying your luggage upstairs). Beautifully decorated and furnished room, walls throughout the hotel covered with original paintings and tapestries, countless articles of historical interest displayed. It's more like a museum than a hotel. One minute's walk from the historic centre and 5 minutes walk from the car park.

  We only used this guest house as a one night stopover and therefore was not able to use the facilities available. It is a lovely modern property and we were made very welcome but left to our own devices as the owners live off site. We think it is an excellent place to stay if exploring the city and district. Especially good for a family stay.
