  This was one of the very best hotels I have ever stayed in . It was simply superb in every aspect and I shall certainly return Best wishes - David Folkes - Although the hotel is 5 minutes drive from the nearest town (Trevelez), it is what it claims, a self-contained village.   The location of the hotel for exploring the area is great. Added to this the rooms are incredibly spacious and a large balcony with mountain views. Nothing can be better than after a day of hiking to be able to relaxing this type of comfort and tranquility. Breakfasts superb.Staff outstanding. We enjoyed it so much that we extended our stay. good test of driving skil - La Fragua 11 is set in a lovely location. The room was very spacious, clean and with a lovely terrace overlooking the mountains. Staff were very friendly and with lots of knowledge of the surrounding areas, good if you want to do some walking. The restaurant, which is just 2 minutes down the road was truly excellant. Very good regional dishes,and very efficient staff and ambiance. Highly recommended.
