The views from the balcony where breakfast is served is superb, especially at sunrise. If you can do not miss the opportunity.
The staff is extremely friendly, being a good example of the South African hospitality. Very relaxed atmosphere. Our room was very spacious, well kept with all the premises.

The zebra suite was fabulous. The place was fabulous, a splendid view on
the mountains. A comfortable place to be. The friendliness of the owners
and the staff. The breakfast is copious and varied; we took the dinner
and it was just great. Pretty pool if you have the time and the weather

We came from Hluhluwe to stop over in Waterval, it's too long way to go to Kruger N.P directly. Great owners (Terry and Cheryl) & staff (Jaco) who went out of their
way to make sure we were happy with our stay. They also gave us some
tips on the rest of our travel. They will prepare dinner for you as an
additional charge. They ask in advance if there are any dietary issues
for them to consider. If you are used to eating things prepared and
seasoned (or not seasoned) a certain way make sure to take the
opportunity to let them know. The dining area and bar are beautiful.
