comfortable room, lovely courtyard for breakfasts, drinks or just to sit

It was my husband's 30th birthday and the hotel went out of their way to make it extra special for him. Special mention to Daphne and Mandla whom really went out of their way to make our stay extra special. I loved the room beyond everything and felt really cosy. First class luxury at a reasonable price. All four of us agreed this was the best hotel we ever stayed at. Our two-bedroom suite with living area was more spacious than we needed but we loved the separate bedrooms and large kitchen. The staff were friendly,courteous and efficient without being intrusive. They went beyond the call of duty to assist. The hotel itself is what a 5 star hotel is all about, and I have stayed in five star hotels throughout the world,some of which don't match up to this.Would definitely stay there again.

Franschhoek Manor was just gorgeous. The house was lovely and the garden was beautiful with two swimming pools and lots of nooks and crannies to sit in peace. Our room was huge with a spacious bathroom and a great four poster bed you had to climb up into. Wolfgang did the best breakfasts we had in South Africa - not only was the food very tasty but it was all beautifully presented. The two dogs were very friendly and Christina and Wolfgang were the perfect hosts.
