  Awesome place. Location is in fact very convenient and comments to the contrary don't make much sense; it's 5mins into the centre of town and really no traffic. Plus it's on the side of town you probably want to be. The only reason to cross town is to get to the train station which you'd escape as fast as humanly possible. Chloe and Marie took excellent care of us and I can highly recommend Liedjiesbos Guest House to anyone. We had dinner at the 'Longhorn Steak House', a few minutes down the road, which was great. We will definitely stay here again.

  We arrived at Lion's Rock not knowing what to expect as the internet was our only reference. We were met by very friendly and accommodating staff and throughout our stay they could not do enough to make us feel welcome and satisfied. Lion, white lion, ben - Lionsrock is highly specific in what it is and what it does. For that reason it is a very interesting place to visit - for a day or so. It is a little inaccisible vis-a-vis other attractions around the eastern Free State, reinforcing the need for a short visit. Staff and facilities are good for a 3-star establishment.

  Chef is amazing and the chalet was just out of this world. Its a little piece of heaven that needs to be shared with family and friends, Gardens exquisite - Excellant accommodation. Very helpful staff, warm and friendly. Had all our meals in house and they were of very good quality.

Try and book rooms facing back as it can become busy over long weekends with Vito restaurant in front downstairs from rooms.   The bed was SO comfortable! Delicious breakfast. Very accommodating with regard to our late arrival. Able to advise on where to get dinner and find our way around Bloemfontein. Fridge in the room was great - Decor was lovely, staff friendly, spotlessly clean and Thabaseng is a very special person! Price excellent.
