  We booked the Victoria and Alfred Guest House randomly because it was close to Port Elisabeth Airport. We just wanted a pad for the night but it exceed expectations with a very comfortable room and en suite facilities, helpful staff and a splendid breakfast.   We stayed in one of the “Swiss Chalet” style rooms on the upper floor. The room was comfortable and clean, though a small fridge would have been welcome. The (outside) stairs to the room are quite steep, and can be slippery when wet. Care is required. Breakfast in the De Oude Martha Restaurant was excellent (buffet style but with eggs cooked to or... что говорят » der) and the food and service in the Hunter’s Pub most enjoyable. We would visit again, but would try to book one on the more expensive colonial- styl - There is not a lot of choice of accomodation in Stormsriver but this place is rather lovely. Great accomodation if a little dark and dated looking in the bedroom and bathroom but a perfect "village" setting. The restaurant is good if not great and the breakfast was excellent. We thought it was good value for money and had a very pleasant stay.

  rooms were adequate, although a little tired. I discovered, during my stay, that superior rooms were available and would probably take that option on another visit. Staff and restaurant were excellent. Some nice places to visit. Dave and Dot say YES - The room very spacious,and the view was lovely..staff friendly...food enjoyable
