Paternoster Seaside Cottages offers two self-catering, well-appointed stone white-washed cottages that are situated in the village of Paternoster.
Featuring individually decorated units with typical West Coast and African elements, the units offer spacious seating areas and an en suite bathroom. They also come with fireplaces, TVs, and DVD players and have their own private infinity pool with sea views.
Guests can prepare their own meals in the privacy of their self-catering units. The fully equipped kitchens include a refrigerator and a microwave. All units have a dining area.
Guests staying at the Cottages can enjoy long walks along the beach. Paternoster Seaside Cottages are located 40 km from the West Coast National Park and 155 km from Cape Town.

The place was homely and clean. Nice facilities and spacious. Loved the views from all areas of the house.

Noisy people downstairs and their constant walking past our car. Also swearing not appropiate for my kids to hear.

Surrounding houses create the feeling that you are staying in a
neglected area Garden non-existent.

Watch out for scorpions in the bathroom during the season!.
All the doors jam and could either not be opened fully or we battled to shut them. On left side of cottage facing sea, is a layby and people can look into the pool area, drinking and noise is bad. We had to call the Police on both nights. The top bedroom bathroom windows open onto the neighbour pool area.
We specifically chose the place because of the fire place. It turned out that this fireplace is not servicable. Further, we phoned ahead to ensure that there would be firewood, and this was not done, although this was rectified. The fireplace causes the entire house to fill with smoke. Not good.
I did not like that nobody told me that the kliphuisie will not be on the sea side but between the people staying there. I did not feel that I was on holiday.
It is a sham, there is no sea view, it borders on the low cost housing
township. Crime is rife and unsafe.
