  Our apartment was on Malaya Morskaya Street, 16, it was very clean and had all the house things you need, from bedsheets towels soups shampo, all kitchen needs, the internetnet was free of charge and very good connection, the location is 5 min walk to the hermitage and other tourist areas which was great.   Traditional hotel from old times but well modernized and maintained. Fairly comparable with western business hotels. Good location next to underground station. We were given a junior suite by price of standard twin due to booking situation and arrival at 19:30 so can't review normal room but suite was excellent. Good word for water in hotel: water is ok, no smell, though when you turn tap, you should wait about 15 sec to get hot water out of it.   The Anchikov has only a few rooms and the staff really treat all of their guests like a kings and queens. From the minute I arrived to the minute I left the staff did everything to make my stay a pleasurable one. For example, I had problems getting my rail tickets confirmed online and was about to purchase new tickets if the staff had not worked ... что говорят » an entire night to get my tickets confirmed. St Petersburg is such a wonderful city and the staff at Anichkov certainly contribute to make everyone's - The staff were superb and always on hand to help. The location was ideal and meant that everything in the historic heart of the city was within walking distance. The water cooler was very handy!

Белье чистое, в номерах полный порядок, нет неприятного запаха. Мы сами из Москвы, а отель в сосновом лесу, воздух.... Наи чистейший , выспались. Вкусный разнообразный завтрак ( свежие овощи, салатики, тефтели, сосиски, макароны, отварной картофель, блинчики, множество разных джемов и т.д...)
