  Great staff who took time to give us recommendations, give directions, etc. They also speak English well which was an important bonus. Breakfast is a good spread with lots of variety, definitely saved time and money on that. And the location is excellent- right near Nevsky and just a 10-15 min walk to all main attractions. The personnel is wonderfull, excellent english and helpful. A complete breakfast, with russian specialities and also continental food for foreigners. Nice room, bathroom, pleasant heating, an electric kettle with tea bags were appreciated at night.

  The past reviews are exactly as it is. The apartment we had was roomy, very quiet, well equipped and clean enough. It is in a safe area. Beware that 60% of the aparts in St Petersbourg have no private bathrooms and kitchens, but this one does! From the minute I arrived to the minute I left the staff did everything to make my stay a pleasurable one. For example, I had problems getting my rail tickets confirmed online and was about to purchase new tickets if the staff had not worked ... что говорят » an entire night to get my tickets confirmed. St Petersburg is such a wonderful city and the staff at Anichkov certainly contribute to make everyone's - The staff were superb and always on hand to help.   The staff was very polite and understanding. The room was very clean with a maid coming in every day. The location is right next to Nevsky Prospect (1 minute walk). Tip: entrance is from Karavannaya street, after passing the entrance to the backyard you will see a glass sign with golden letters saying "Polikoff Hotel", come in and ring apt. 28 (if... что говорят » I'm not mistaken). Breakfast was OK. The room was quite (you don't hear the street from the room). - Excellent position in the middle of the city. Windows are faced to backyard, no noise at all though Nevsky prospect is about 10m away.everyday room cleaning. Polite and obliging personal. Very good solution for business trips when only sleeping in the hotel...
