  The Hotel Miramar was a perfect "boutique" style hotel for us. The location was ideal and we were able to walk to restaurants and bars. The beach was also a short walk away! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful (especially with restaurant recommendations). The hotel restaurant was nice and the breakfast that was included was substantia... что говорят » l and simple (don't expect a buffet here!). The rooms were clean and had an "old" feel to them in a good way! I HIGHLY recommend this hotel!!! - The price was really very reasonable and the staff was incredibly helpful. A taxi was $13.00 to Old San Juan but the staff told us about the bus (incredibly simple...almost door to door!) right out front for only 50 cents!...and the stop is right in front of the hotel. The bus has it's own lane so it takes half the time of a taxi ride. Tips like that made our stay very nice. We had stayed in a beautiful b & b in Old San Juan, but this is equally convenient with that bus tip.
